Under the EMPOWERMENT Project, a day-long Training on the Right to Information (RTI) took place on 9th September 2025 at the Conference Room of Khagrachari Sadar Upazila Administration Office. A total of 30 participants i.e. 25 CCMs, 5 CSOs and CBOs participated.
The event was being inaugurated by Mr. Sujan Chandra Roy, UNO, Khagrachari Sadar, who highlighted the importance of RTI in promoting transparency and accountability.
The training was being facilitated by Ms. Minuching Marma. Participants were actively engaged in discussions and exercises on how RTI can empower communities and strengthen civic participation. Ms. Shwashati Dewan, Project Manager, EMPOWERMENT Project, emphasizes the importance of the training in empowering the community.
The training continued with enthusiastic participation and valuable exchanges including real time field exercise.
